Dr. Aida has been in practice since 2006 providing therapeutic services. She transitioned over to a full-time virtual practice in 2017 to be accessible to her busy, professional, international and traveling clients. This ensures that her clients can get a hold of her anywhere in the world. She has a background in cultural anthropology, sociology, psychology, and human behavior. She expanded beyond the theoretical framework of her academic background to train in breathwork and hypnosis. She states “where talk therapy ends, breathwork or hypnotherapy take over to make lasting changes.”

Dr. Aida takes pride in reducing stigma of mental health needs by providing educational seminars. She has presented to UCI Psychiatric Symposium, UCI OBYN department, Lupus LA – Orange County Branch, and March of Dimes. She supports her community through the peer mentorship program of the UCLA Alumni Association and served as Vice President of Iranian American Mental Health Society. She is passionate about protecting the mental health of musicians and is the health group co-chair of the Association For Electronic Music aiding in revising the new edition of “The Electron Music Industry Guide To Mental Health”.
